I'm aware of them. Unfortunately, a lot of other authors seem to enjoy trying to use them as punching bags for their Jedi protagonists. It's kind of like Taskmaster in the Marvel universe. Here's this guy who by rights ought to be able to clobber roughly 99% of all characters not capable of knocking over buildings with their fists and the only reason he seems to make appearances anymore is to get wailed on by some writer's pet character to show how awesome he/she is.
The only writers who seem to try and go for a sense of fairness in Jedi vs Mando encounters are Matthew Stover and John Jackson Miller.
